today in robotics we have been learning how t use code and this s what i have leaned

football challenge on Python

today in miss chowfins class i have been learning code using a web site called Python. On this web site I was learning how to understand subroutines (functions/procedures). The challenge was to use the x y coordinates to set out a football formation. We had to change the color in the code and we had to redo the code to make it work.

factoring algebra

in term two we are learning algebra and this is what we were learning. and this type of algebra is called factoring

kumara filed trip

on Monday the 9 of April all or nearly all of the year 9s at greyhigh went on a filed trip to kumara because in our English and new Zealand studies class we were learning about the history of the west coast so we all went to kamara because there is lots of history there about the west coast we went there on a bus and when we were there we learned about history about this guy and he was the longest lasting priminster  and we also went to this really big rock and it is called the londondairy rock and the walk to get there was about 20 mins and we also played some games with fake gold and my team got the most gold.

Science Roadshow

On the tuesday the 14 we went to Grey High School to go and see the science roadshow. we left at 12:15 to get on the bus to get there the bus ride was all right. When we got to the school our class go off the bus and went to the Grey High School hall. when we got to the hall there was another class waiting for us the people running the show talked to us saying follow the instructions and don't touch anything you're not supposed to and HAVE FUN!

When I was walking around I saw some really cool inventions there was a invention that is like a hot air balloon when we put hot air in to this paper bag it went up to the top and when we stopped the hot air flow the bag came down so it is exactly like a hot air balloon but smaller and easier to use.
